RXI specified this Toyota LandCruiser Single Cab around a 2400 mm Canopex Ledge Body designed to support rural line
crews working away from fixed facilities.

The configuration combines powered gullwing access, a 2200mm staged-locking underbody drawer, multiple underbody storage boxes, onboard water, a 3000W inverter and 230Ah lithium battery, external carrying systems and a broad suite of vehicle-safety equipment. Together, these systems create a mobile field platform intended to support equipment access, power availability and operator readiness across changing site conditions.

The Challenge:
Rural line crews may need to carry tools, electrical equipment, long materials, safety gear and support equipment across varied terrain and away from depot facilities. For this specification, the vehicle needed to combine secure storage with auxiliary power, equipment carrying, reversing visibility, warning systems, towing capability and practical operator
support.

The build name establishes a rural-lines application, but the exact work scope, deployment environment and operating
procedures should be confirmed with the customer before publication.

The RXI Solution:
RXI specified a two-door Canopex Ledge Body measuring 2400mm long, with a 2100mm canopy and 300 mm ledge. Powered gullwing doors provide access to the main service-body compartments, while a fold-down spare-wheel holder and 20 L jerry-can holder make use of the ledge configuration.

Storage is extended through a 2200mm staged-locking underbody drawer, multiple tapered underbody boxes and internal CargoMax drawer storage, with a 15 L under-tray water system adding field hygiene support. The electrical package includes a 3000W Projecta inverter, 230Ah lithium battery and 50A BCDC charger, supported by accessory sockets, a rear 50A Anderson connection, jump-start receptacle and work lighting. Vehicle-safety integration includes a constant-on rear camera, reverse sensors, smart reversing alarm with temporary mute, handbrake alarm and amber hazard flashers.

A 2700mm trade platform, 3.9 m lockable conduit carrier, rear safety steps, towing mirrors, brake controller, trailer socket, first-aid equipment, safety triangles and a 9 kg ABE extinguisher complete the specified rural field-support package.

The Result:
This LandCruiser is designed to give rural field operators a more self-sufficient mobile workspace by combining secure equipment storage, high-capacity onboard power, long-item carrying, worksite lighting and integrated safety systems for work away from fixed facilities.
