RXI delivered a purpose-built Ford Ranger Super Duty Single Cab service body for Weir Group, engineered to support mining field operations across demanding environments.
The half open centre Canopex® aluminium body combines secure enclosed storage with a practical open workspace, allowing technicians to transport equipment safely while maintaining quick access on site. Integrated lithium power, organised shelving, underbody storage, onboard refrigeration, and comprehensive mine-spec safety systems provide crews with a reliable mobile workspace designed to improve productivity, safety, and operational efficiency in the field.

- Aluminium Canopex half open centre 2-door service body (2550L x 1950W x 900H) featuring 1950mm enclosed cabinets and an open centre storage section.
- Powered gullwing side doors for safe and efficient access to equipment.
- Compliant mounting system including integrated fuel filler, mudguards, mudflaps, and upgraded tail light channel.
- Heavy-duty 1900mm aluminium underbody drawer with gas strut-assisted lockable lid.
- Multiple aluminium underbody storage boxes and dedicated ventilated battery box.
- FlexiShelf shelving systems and CargoMODx 4-drawer unit for organised tool and equipment storage.
- Engel 32L fridge/freezer mounted on a heavy-duty fridge slide.
- Heavy-duty external folding vice mount with 4-inch vice.
- RXI E-Pac electrical system with central locking, LED interior lighting, door alert system, and warning buzzer.
- 120Ah lithium battery system with 1500W inverter, DC-DC charger, battery isolation lockout, and fridge power supply.
- LED work lights, amber hazard flashers, rotating beacon, reversing alarm, and high-mounted combination lighting.
- Heavy-duty alloy roof bars, certified cargo restraint system, mine flag assembly, wheel chocks, fire extinguisher, safety triangles, grab handles, reflective markings, and mine compliance equipment.
