Two-door Canopex® Service Body with Integrated Storage, Ladder Handling, Electrical, Safety and Field-Support Equipment
For Ventia, a vehicle is more than transport. It is the workspace crews rely on to maintain essential infrastructure, often far from a depot. RXI delivered a Toyota Hilux that gives technicians everything they need, where they need it.
The Challenge:
A field-service vehicle has to do more than carry tools, equipment and access gear. It needs to keep the most-used items organised, secure and within easy reach. Ventia also needed safe ladder storage, clear visibility on site and practical field support, all built into a single, durable and fully compliant platform.
The RXI Solution:
At the heart of the build is a Canopex® two-door aluminium Open Centre Service Body, with gullwing doors that open the full body for easy access from either side. Central locking and a door-alert system keep equipment secure on the move.
Inside, adjustable FlexiShelf storage and an aluminium underbody drawer keep tools and equipment organised. Roof-mounted ladder storage carries access gear securely above the body, keeping it clear of the working area while making it easy to load and unload on site.
LED lighting and amber hazard flashers support safe work on site, and an under-tray water system adds practical support in the field.
The complete fit-out is engineered and installed to be fully compliant with Australian road and safety requirements, giving Ventia confidence that the vehicle is ready for work from day one.
