RXI developed this display vehicle as a practical demonstration of how a compact service-body platform can bring storage, electrical power, load restraint, lighting and field-support equipment together in one integrated solution.

At the centre of the build is an 1800mm two-door Canopex full-open-centre aluminium body with powered gullwing access, supported by modular shelving, drawers, underbody storage, onboard power, work lighting, water provision and load-restraint systems. Built as an RXI prototype and display vehicle, this brings features together in one compact mobile workspace, demonstrating how RXI can integrate storage, power, access and safety systems into a coordinated service-body solution tailored to different field roles and equipment needs.

Requirements:
A display vehicle needs to do more than present components in isolation. It must show how a complete service-body system can be configured around real working requirements – organised storage, fast access, secure load restraint, onboard electrical capability, lighting and practical field support.

For this prototype, RXI combined multiple storage zones, powered access, integrated electrical systems, work lights, a water and hand-wash provision, reverse-sensing hardware and vehicle-access equipment within the compact 1800mm service-body footprint.

The RXI solution:
The build uses a two-door Canopex full-open-centre aluminium body with colour-matched finish and powered side access. A 1600 mm staged-locking underbody drawer with  aluminium works top provides external storage, while CargoMODx drawers and dual FlexiShelf assemblies create organised cabinet storage inside the body.

Electrical capability is supported by a 125Ah AGM auxiliary battery, 25A dual-battery charging system, 1500W pure-sine-wave inverter, protected dual GPO, USB-A/USB-C outlets and integrated lighting. Load restraint is handled through a certified cargo net, universal anchor tracks and tie-down rings.

Additional field-support features include a 15 L under-tray water tank, safety-yellow rear step and grab handles, reverse sensors, amber hazard flashers and multiple work lights positioned around the service body.
