    Asset Inspector – Open Centre Body, Storage, Electrical, and Field Equipment Integration

This RXI-built Ford Ranger Extra Cab supports United Energies Asset Inspector team with a fit out that’s rugged, efficient, and safety-focused. With an open centre service body, lockable tool drawers, roof-mounted electronic signage, inverter-based power, and a full internal/external lighting suite, the vehicle is a mobile workstation engineered for the real-world challenges of infrastructure inspection.

Key Requirements
  • An Open Centre aluminium service body was fitted (2100L Cabinet passenger side, 1650L Cabinet driver side) powered gullwing doors.
  • Storage features included a 1900mm underbody drawer, dual custom shelving modules (driver and passenger side), aluminium CargoSturdy drawer unit, vented jerry can box, underbody battery box, and brush cutter engine box.
  • Safety and compliance enhancements consist of a fire extinguisher, yellow safety grab handles, anti-vibration rubber matting, worker-ahead sign storage, traffic cone holder, LED reverse lights, fire rake holder, and portable wash station.
  • Electrical integration includes a 12V 3000W pure sine wave inverter with RCD, Redarc dual battery charging system, dual accessory sockets, LED swivel strip lights, LED amber hazard flashers, reverse sensors, and a programmable CANBUS alarm and panel.
  • Exterior features include a conduit tube with lockable caps, rear safety steps in yellow, Rhino 2-bar roof rack, reflective roof-mounted electronic workman sign, directional arrow bar, rear camera mount, and jump start system.
  • Interior upgrades include Black Duck seat covers, 3D moulded floor mats, heavy-duty fire rake holder, window tinting, and full decal package
