OCB Service Body Fitout with Safety, Storage, Electrical & Performance Upgrades
RXI successfully delivered a high-spec Toyota Hilux Dual Cab fitout for UGL, engineered to support daily utility and infrastructure work. The vehicle features a robust Canopex service body, a full suite of secure storage drawers and shelving, and heavy-duty safety and electrical upgrades. With powered doors, integrated inverter system, ladder handling solutions, and a GVM upgrade, this Hilux is ready for reliable field deployment, day in and day out.
Key Requirements
- A Canopex Half-Open Centre Service Body (1800L x 1850W x 900H) was installed, featuring powered gullwing doors, tailgate, and colour-matched 2Pak finish.
- The internal fitout includes aluminium underbody drawers, a dual rear safety steps, 1600L underbody drawer, CargoSwift drawer unit (4-drawer configuration), knapsack holder, adjustable shelving—all designed for secure, efficient storage and daily field use.
- Electrical integration includes a 2000W pure sine wave Projecta inverter with inbuilt RVD, Redarc BCDC 25A charger, 100Ah AGM battery, rear work lights, remotely operated search lamp, LED hazard flashers.
- Work ready roof accessories include 3.0m and 2.6m ladder slide system with rollers, electronic ladder locks wired to in cab alarm, conduit tube carrier, HV stick holder.
- Safety & compliance additions include a heavy-duty bullbar (winch-compatible), reverse sensors and camera, GVM upgrade to 3620kg, fire extinguisher, 4.5kg gas bottle holder, LED tail lamps, reflective tape to door perimeters, and canvas seat covers (front and rear).
- Additional touches include full central locking, undertray hand wash station, towbar & harness, all making this build field-ready and fully compliant.
