Three-Door Canopex® Full-Body Service with Powered Access and Integrated Field Systems

RXI Group delivered a fully integrated Toyota Hilux field-service vehicle engineered to support demanding operational environments through enhanced access, onboard power and purpose-built storage systems.

The build features a three-door Canopex® full-body service body with powered gullwing and rear access doors, combining secure storage, electrical infrastructure and field equipment into a unified system.

The completed vehicle provides a self-contained field capability platform, enabling technicians to operate independently of fixed facilities while maintaining organisation, safety and functional readiness in remote or low-light conditions.

Requirements

Field-service vehicles need more than basic storage—they require organised equipment access, safe entry, integrated power and practical field functions. This Toyota Hilux build combines structured tool storage, work lighting, hand-washing and equipment-handling provisions while retaining key factory systems, including the reverse camera and parking sensors.

Solution

RXI fitted the Hilux with a 2100 mm three-door Canopex® full-body service body, featuring powered access, central locking and door-alert systems. Inside, integrated storage, lighting, electrical, access and field-support systems create an organised and practical mobile workspace.
