    Substation Technician Truck with Full Canopy & Tray Body

Built for daily deployment by substation technicians, this truck fitout combines rugged construction with ergonomic and compliant access solutions. From a roof-hung link stick chute to full-length drawers, onboard inverter, and dual battery power, RXI’s solution transforms the Iveco Daily into a mobile substation service hub—designed for durability, visibility, and operational efficiency across Queensland’s power network.

Key Requirements
  • Aluminium service body (5050L x 2200W x 1450H) with a 3300L canopy and 1750L tray. Features 2 side doors, rear swing gates, and Raptor-coated fold-down steps with high-grip surfacing.
  • Dual battery system with Redarc charger, inverter power supply, Anderson plug integration, door alert systems, and proximity sensors (steps, loader, drawers, boxes). LED lighting throughout, including amber beacons and perimeter lights.
  • Full-length drawer systems, roof-hung link stick chute, Ergon-spec shelving with PC lid cases, fixed shelves, fold-down steps, sliding tool platform with vice mount, internal tie-downs, and conduit carriers.
  • Weight decals, internal/external grab handles, 3M reflective tape, “no drinking water” decals, heavy door warnings, and perimeter tie-down tracks. Finished in Kikuyu Green (G36) for Energy QLD branding.
  • Ergon-spec ladder racks and rollers, 4.0m CSL ladder rack with straps, Rhino rack hoops, and roof-mounted conduit carrier.
