RXI delivered a purpose-built Ford Ranger Dual Cab service body for Zinfra, engineered to support gas transmission and utility field operations. The half open centre Canopex aluminium body provides a balance of secure internal storage and functional rear tray space, supported by extensive underbody drawers, shelving, and onboard power systems. With integrated safety, communications, lighting, and compliance equipment — complemented by RXI’s in-house vehicle wrapping for a consistent, fleet-ready finish — this vehicle is designed to improve efficiency, enhance safety, and deliver reliable performance in demanding utility environments.
Key Requirements
- Aluminium Canopex half open centre 2-door service body (1800L x 1850W x 1000H) featuring a 1350L enclosed cabinet section and 450L rear tray with rear tie-down points, finished in colour-matched 2Pak paint.
- Compliant service body mounting system including integrated fuel filler, mudguards, and mudflaps.
- 1600L aluminium underbody drawer unit with painted facia for secure external storage.
- 15L under-tray water tank complete with tap and soap dispenser to support field hygiene requirements.
- Internal storage cabinets and tie-down track with rated lashing rings for secure load management.
- Electrical Pack including 100Ah lithium battery, 1000W inverter, and DC-DC charger to support onboard power requirements.
