Alloy Tray Fitout with Electrical, Safety & Field Upgrades
RXI delivered a fully customised Ford Ranger Single Cab for Ventia, tailored for Bluescope NSW Industrial operations. The fitout features a durable alloy tray with ladder systems, integrated dual battery and inverter power, Cel-Fi 5G connectivity, and UHF radio communications. With added safety gear, storage upgrades, and a GVM upgrade, the vehicle is engineered for productivity, compliance, and performance in demanding field environments.
Key Requirements
- Heavy-duty aluminium cargo tray (2480 x 1855mm, 235mm drop sides) with mesh headboard, mudguards, LED tail lamps, and compliant mounting kit.
- Rear ladder hoop (removable), Rhino heavy-duty roof bar system with ladder guide pegs, and alloy side steps for improved access.
- Electrical and communications package including dual battery system with Redarc 25A charger, 100Ah deep cycle battery, Projecta 1000W inverter, Cel-Fi 5G mobile repeater kit, GME UHF radio with antenna, and EROAD vehicle monitoring system.
- Safety systems included ultrasonic reverse sensors, reversing alarm, hazard flashers, wheel nut indicators, 1.5kg ABE fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and rear heavy-duty tow step with yellow safety finish.
- Field-ready accessories such as MSA 60L fridge drop slide, underbody storage box with venting, jump start receptacle system, bull bar with Warn 10,000lb winch, roof-mounted LED driving lights, and window tinting.
- Compliance upgrades including GVM upgrade to 3500kg, Ventia decals and safety markings, and protective Black Duck seat covers with rubber floor mats.
